As you may well know, IT'S SUMMER!
Summer can be full laughter and fun, but it's mostly full of those boring days. You know what I'm talking about. The days where it's too hot to do anything, you're unmotivated, you don't have any money to go anywhere special, or the inside of your house just seems sooooooo much better than the outside.
That's where this blog entry comes In to save you from boredom. In my life I have had plenty of these boring days so I have some fairly simple ideas for your entertainment.
1. Clean your room.
Although you might hate me for this, it's a great idea. Cleaning your room helps kill time while tidying up, you might also find some buried treasure under all that junk
2. Try out a new look.
Are you growing out of your favorite outfits? No worries, finding new outfits is as easy as picking out a shirt and finding every possible clothing item that looks good with it. You can change your hair too! Because it's summer you have a lot of time to find a new hairstyle, and perfect it
Whether it's just pinning your hair up or changing socks, finding a new look is never a bad idea.
3. ART! ART! ART!
This may sound tacky, but doing something creative can really brighten your mood. Just because the title of this idea is called art, doesn't limit you to simply drawing.(not that anything is wrong with that) You can also sing, dance, write, etc. etc. Personally, I like to make origami butterflies.
4. Try to make a rap.
Yes, really I wrote this. You might think that this is "too hard" or "lame" but I can assure that nothing is more fun than fightin' crimes and bustin' out rhymes. To make a rap all you really need is 3 things.
- What you're rapping about (ex. chair, dog, lightulb...)
- A rhyming dictionary (easily found online)
- an imagination (also easily found online)
If you still don't know how then here is the example I made.
Table
yo, look at that table,
it's so mentally stable.
I'm not quite sure how it stays at that angle
maybe it's because of cool rectangles.
or maybe it's because it doesn't dangle.
*face palm* I'm obviously not going into a rap career.
5. Try to walk around your house blindfolded.
This, while being a terrible idea, can be pretty fun. If you want to take it up another level then get a sibling or friend to hide something in your house, and give you hints on where to retrieve it.
6. Click the bored button.
If none of these options sound appealing then you could always stay on the internet and go to
http://www.boredbutton.com/
Basically, it's a website that brings up other random websites with the click of a red button.
I hope I cured your boredom, or at least stalled it for a few minutes. :)
